Over the past 10 years, we have seen the sales and installation of Tile and Grout skyrocket! People have fallen in love with the new styles of porcelain and Travertine floors. They give us the durability and appearance we are looking for!
Most people maintain their tile and grout like it is linoleum. You know, fill up the mop bucket or sink with some pine sol diluted water concoction and really scrub it up! You get on your hands and knees and scrub the grout lines and a couple hours later you have a soapy residue concoction haze left on the surface of your tile and grout. It may look good for a week or two, but the problem is you have no way of extracting all the soapy residue and rinsing it well enough to stay clean for very long. Plus with some of the Google search cleaning baking soda concoctions, the white haze residue will within a few days, make your grout look marbled. Now Marble is beautiful. But marbled grout is not.
The best solution for maintaining your beautiful tile and grout flooring is to start with a clean slate. At SGV Steam Cleaning Services we offer a vacuumed controlled pressure washing. All the cleaning is completed within a high pressure cleaning head. No mess! No over-spray! No standing puddles in the middle of your kitchen! And the best part is your grout will look amazing again. And in most cases, better than when it was new. When the cleaning is completed, we recommend sealing the the grout. With Travertine or other natural stone materials, the entire surface can be sealed along with the grout.
